10 West Restaurant & Bar

My Wife and I celebrated our 20th Anniversary at 10 West last night as it is by far our favorite restaurant in Indiana. As always the food was amazing and reasonably priced and I forgot the waiter's name unfortunately but a young man working in the cellar last night and he did a great job. We have gone to 10 West since they opened years ago and I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience at 10 West. I do recommend reservations because they are always busy and we always get the cellar as it is amazing. Keep up the great work!!!!

I made the mistake of ordering a $35ish steak at a local restaurant that must be buying their meat at Walmart. You have to expect some fat on a ribeye but this steak was at least 80% fat and gristle. Couldn’t cut it, couldn’t chew it and couldn’t believe this place was serving it. The server said he would comp it but only took 1/2 off the menu price. I had a $17.50 baked potato for dinner. The other person who ordered steak had the same problem with hers. The other dishes, chicken prepared 2 different ways, a burger, said their meals were very good, as were the appetizers. Apparently the trick to having a decent dinner at this place is NO STEAK!! It would serve them best to take it off the menu! Side note to the hostess who tried to educate me on what a ribeye is(you have to expect some fat) : I’m a 67 year old New Yorker who has eaten Ribeye at so many high end steak houses I can’t keep track anymore and at middle of the road restaurants as well. 10 West is by far serving the worst of them all!

My 1st time dining here. I was invited to join my son and his, girlfriend. Note! You do need to make a reservation a few days in advance. I ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp for an appetizer. Absolutely wonderful. We all three ordered a filet which was excellent . My sides were a salad and baked potatoe. My son orders a tomatoe/? Soup that he swears it's to die for in stead of a salad. To compliment my filet I ordered a cabernet, they didn't have any Pinot Noir. Lastly the bread they serve is wonderful. 10 West is probably one of the best restaurants in the area. It definitely become a favorite of mine. Our waitress was Debbie, she has been there a few years and was excellent. It took me 35 minutes to drive to. I'll will definitely return.. We didn't save room for dessert so I can't tell you about that.
